Jaime Yoon
SVP, Head of Distribution, Canada
Jaime Yoon was appointed SVP, Head of Distribution, Canada at Sompo in April 2025.
In this role, she leads distribution strategy and market engagement across Canada.
Ms Yoon has more than 25 years of insurance industry experience spanning commercial insurance, risk management, underwriting, business development and broker relationship management.
Prior to joining Sompo, she served in a series of client relationship management leadership roles and earlier in her career, she held underwriting leadership positions and risk management roles, working with large commercial and global accounts across a range of industries.
Ms Yoon holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Applied Economics from Queen's University. She also holds the Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP), Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designations.
